About who needs care: Currently recovering from a broken ankle. We are looking for someone who is can be there, call the help line if she falls, cook, laundry, make meals, drive to appts. She has a spare room, possibly someone live in if it could lower the cost at all. She loves music (has piano and saxophone). Her biggest passion is making jewelry. The structure of her day involves her getting up, going to livingroom, bathroom and back to bed. But looking for someone to take a little walk with her as well. Get some exercise in. Maybe go to the some local artsy places. About the care needs: She drinks a glass of hard alchohol at night, so anyone who is a recovering alchoholic would not be good. Some one who likes to chat would be good. If they were similiar that would be good. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
