About the job
Help needed for my father in his 70s - He has Parkinson's disease and reduced mobility and dementia. seeking part-time hands-on care every Friday from 8am-2 p.m. and for coverage on 4/24 8am-2 p.m. and 4/28 and 4/29 same hours. The ideal match is good with dogs (large dog resident) and has transportation (not on public transport line). Assistance with medication is needed. Please be willing to do light housekeeping. Some help needed with dressing and soaking feet. Responsibilities include preparing lunch, encouraging activity (walks and PT exercises). We're looking for someone to provide companionship primarily and to provide respite to my mother his primary caregiver. Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker.
