Hands-on Care Needed For My Mother In Berkeley

About who needs care: My Mom get's around house with a walker and is on oxygen full-time. Exhibits mental decline but can still converse fairly well. Has dental issues and therefore has to eat soft foods only. Has macular degeneration making reading difficult. Loves being in her own home. Her daily routine has been reduced to moving back and forth between bedroom and living room. Spends the day in a chair in the living room either watching news on tv or reading (with a magnifying glass) the daily newspaper. We have two care givers already but need to fill a 12:00 noon Monday to 12:00 noon Wednesday time slot. Care givers sleep in same room with my Mom and help her go to the bathroom several times during the night. About the care needs: Care givers need patience and an upbeat attitude. Should be willing to help with keeping kitchen clean and occasional spot vacuuming, etc. My Mom needs help moving about the house and having food prepared. Needs some help showering and changing urinary pads, etc. I am present most of the time and do bill paying, grocery shopping, and yard work. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
