About the job
Hello, my mother is in her 70s and has diabetes and dementia. My father has been caring for her but he is in his 80s & needs help. They have a caregiver now Sun-Wed during the day so I am seeking fill-in the other days, though the situation is evolving and we may be looking for overnight sometimes. The most important help my mom needs is in advising her as to how much insulin to take before each meal based on her blood sugar level and what she is going to eat. Mom has a continuous glucose monitor in her arm which sends the data to her phone. We would like someone to be in the house with her so Dad can leave the house for a while. Also, grocery shopping, taking mom to get her hair cut, etc.. Dad & Mom have a great sense of humor and are interesting people. They have a small friendly dog.
