About who needs care: My father has mild dementia. He lives with me and my mom but we need some respite care a couple times a week. My father's dementia presents in a passive and compliant way rather than aggressive, which is good. About the care needs: Loving and patient would be appreciated. The caregiver does need to be comfortable occasionally helping him change clothes and clean up if he has an accident. We have him wear depends regularly. Most of the time at home, he watches TV or we play games like dominoes or Yahtzee. Services needed include: meal preparation, checking on dad for something to drink, and dressing / bathing. About the care needs: A person who loving, caring and has patience. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
