About the job
About who needs care: My mom broke her pelvis and is recovering. She can walk but her mobility is limited and she needs help with light housework. She loves feeding and watching wild birds and her garden. Ideally, the person arrives and helps feed the birds, cleans the kitchen, maybe throw in a load of laundry and change her bed. I think she would like to have a coffee and chat with this person. Then on some days give her a sponge bath. She may need help watering some plants. Taking her out and to the occasional doctors appointment would be good but not a requirement. She would have people visiting her so answering the door and potentially making coffee for them. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
