About the job
Nancy suffered a stroke in Feb 2023 which resulted in severely diminished vision, mild cognitive impairment (mostly short-term memory) and occasional memory fog disorientation. She can care for herself and is mobile with a rollator but tires easily with pre-existing (prior to the stroke) primary orthostatic and essential tremors, DM2 and AFIB topping the list. I have been providing informal care for Nancy since Mar 2023. My need is for an afternoon of personal time one day/week to shop, do errands and maybe some days just close my bedroom door and take a nap knowing that Nancy is safe and secure. We are seeking a caregiver who is calm, attentive, positive, detail-oriented and reliable and a good audience for years of carefully compiled stories. Applicants with AZ FBI Fingerprint Clearance Card and training credentials preferred
