About who needs care: My mother, Maurine, is an 86-year-old fully aware and great lady who needs help with errands, grocery shopping, and attending appointments when I am unable to go with her. She is an artist with a wonderful sense of humor and is very kind. Her most energetic time of the day is in the afternoon. She still drives during the day, but getting to appointments or doing shopping outside of her regular or nearby area is a bit challenging. About the care needs: She would need someone with good humor and wit, who wouldn't speak to her as if she is not in her full mental capacity. She is fun and a bit sardonic in humor. She needs a personal assistant in the professional sense of the word She can fully care for herself and make her own meals. She needs a companion for appointments and shopping, primarily, when I cannot go with her. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, and light housekeeping.
