About who needs care: My brother has early ALS. Unable to use his arms and hands for his personal hygiene. Has diabetes, well controlled. Able to walk and sleeps in an electric recliner. Awakes late morning, drinks his coffee in special cup with plastic straw. Has breakfast anytime between 12-1 p.m. Spends the day watching tv. I make dinner around 5:30 p.m. and after dinner, he continues to watch tv. About the care needs: Ideally, he would like a male caregiver. The person should have a lot of patience, my brother is obsessive about his personal hygiene but he is pleasant and will work with caregiver. No specific hobbies or interests Services needed include: feeding, and bathing / dressing.
