About the job
We are seeking an experienced overnight senior care provider to work Friday through Monday nights. The ideal candidate must be a non-smoker and not live with smokers, as my mom has severe asthma. Applicants should be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and the flu, comfortable with cats (my mom has two), and able to assist with cleaning the litter box once a day. We are looking for someone kind, compassionate, and knowledgeable about elderly care and medical needs. My mom has an injury in her back/hip area and requires assistance with mobility, meal preparation, toileting/hygiene, and medication reminders. She typically sleeps through most of the night, but we need someone who can ensure her safety, assist her with getting to the toilet if needed, and prevent falls.
