About who needs care: My mother has arthritis and just had a very mild stroke . She just loves to have someone to talk to. An ideal day would be spending some time in her favourite chair watching the news etc on tv, maybe fixing herself lunch, but also would include socializing with somebody else, and maybe a trip to the grocery store, etc About the care needs: A chatty outgoing personality would be a good fit, but also a very good listener as she likes to chat herself. No specialized skills would be needed. She is interested in a lot of different things without having a specific hobby. She had to give up crocheting because of her arthritic hands. She has a new interest in archeology and discoveries of that sort. Really she is interested in the world, politics , etc. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
