About who needs care: For my Mom, she dresses herself, reads her newspaper in the morning. Has beginning stages of dementia but manages herself. Does need someone to cook and make sure she eats, drinks her water, and takes her pills. Usually naps after lunch. Light housekeeping, laundry, make her meal for dinner after they leave. About the care needs: Kind, talkative but not overly, positive, upbeat, encouraging. Patience with repeated conversations at times. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
