Rita (89, no major health issues other than typical arthritis) watches golf and CNN from her recliner, that she also sleeps in. We live within walking distance and prepare some of her meals. Two or three times per week, she needs a hand changing clothes and supervision in the shower. Her medications are bubble-packed - blood pressure, anxiety. This year, we have noticed some cognitive decline - so she no longer drives, nor does any banking. About the care needs: Nothing specific other than patience and understanding. She can be quite engaging with the right individual - she has lots of travel stories. Services needed include: bathing / dressing / hair care then meal prep and light housekeeping.
