About who needs care: My dad has Parkinsons and very limited mobility. He spends most time in his recliner watching TV or reading the paper but is not very active otherwise. He primarily needs assistance with a wheelchair or walker to get to the bathroom. He gets confused about things due to dementia caused by Parkinsons. About the care needs: He is well traveled, was an avid runner, hiker, climber and enjoyed visiting national parks. Very adventurous and athletic. He would do well with someone who was kind and caring but lets him be as independent as possible and he doesn't always like to visit or engage with others because he gets tired out. Services needed include: feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
