About the job
Hello, my parents need a temporary caretaker for 4 days. (Monday, October 7th - Thursday, October 10th). Time would be 8am-1 p.m. each day. Car would be required for daily errands each day; light shopping and driving to gym class. My dad is incontinent and transferred to a chair where he remains all day and staff at the facility do the transfer. My dad has no problems understanding anything as he has no dementia, but has difficulty communicating as he has a form of ALS/Lou Gehrigs. My mom has dementia so needs help maintaining her routine but she can dress, shower, and communicate fine but needs help with shopping as her decision making and judgement is compromised. Breakfast would need to be prepared as well as lunch. My dad needs help with eating, my mom does not need help with eating but cannot use the stove/cook. Thank you.
