About the job
We are looking for a live-in caregiver for my mother who has dementia. She is mobile but needs help with almost everything including cooking, light housekeeping, bathing, dressing, toileting, laundry, companionship, and activities. Mom is usually happy and cheerful, loves to laugh, enjoys the outdoors in her garden or on short dog walks. You would be joining a team of caregivers to provide 24-hour coverage. Mom's guest room has been set up for the caregivers' use. Experience with Alzheimer's/dementia patients is a must. A good cook would be especially welcome! We are looking for short-term (most of October) as well as long-term caregivers. Hourly rate is $20 to $28 depending on experience and references.
