About who needs care: My Aunt needs help getting up in the morning and ready for bed at night. She wears depends so would need to be changed. She is on hospice so they bath her and husband can help around the house. She is in a wheelchair so needs help transferring. We have applied for ALTCS but paperwork takeswill go into a group home unless things are working out with a in home caregiver. 4-5 weeks we were told. When it goes thru she About the care needs: She has no dementia and is very easy to get along with. She has pain in her hips and back. Services needed include: feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
