About the job
My mom has dementia and generally sleeps most of the day. She is usually very sweet. She does get up on her own to go to the restroom and goes to the refrigerator to get her Ensure. She takes a pain pill morning and night. I also have two adult White German Shepherd dogs that are therapy dogs that will need to be cared for. Again, pretty easy since they need to be fed morning and night. I have a caregiver who comes MWF from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. She will take care of bathing my mom. About the care needs: My mom has about a 10 minute memory. I have not been able to engage her in any hobbies or activities. She will talk to new people a fair amount. It's generally a pretty easy gig. Caregiver should have patience and be kind. Will pay $1, 250 for this gig (from 10 a.m. Thursday to 7 a.m. Monday).
