About who needs care: My mom has dementia and is about 98% blind. She's quite independent and likes to keep busy throughout the day. she loves to be outdoors in her garden, planting new things. She loves to cook, but now needs help doing so. About the care needs: A mature female, with years of life experience, who understands older people would be ideal. Someone who doesn't talk constantly and is a good listener. My mom likes her quiet time and doesn't like to be followed around the house. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
