About the job
My name is Dawn, I am currently the wife and primary caretaker of my husband, Tom. Tom has been struggling with memory loss for about 2 years and about a year ago was diagnosed with Vascular Dementia and Alzheimer. Tom is a loving sole, that likes to kid around. Tom also wears a Urostomy bag, he lost his bladder to cancer about 3 years ago. He is unable to change his own bag at this point, so I have that responsibility. I will continue to do the required x2/week changing of that bag, but if the bag unexpectedly fails it would be helpful to have someone that could be my back up (this would be a nice to have, not a deal breaker). Tom is on medication for sundowning, among other things. It is helping tone down the times where he become frustrated with himself, which is very common with Tom condition. Someone that understand
