About who needs care: Mom is a caring soul with a love for kitties and crafting. She spends her days playing games on her phone, watching old TV shows and movies, or talking on the phone with her bestie. She does have a bedroom and living area but is more comfortable in her living area so she sleeps in her chair. She sleeps odd hours, mostly napping throughout the day and getting a couple hours through the night. Shes usually up around 7:30-8 to make her coffee and breakfast. She bathes once a week but with help we would like to get that to two times a week. She does have lymphedema in her legs. It is mostly managed now with occasional flare ups. She has leg pumps for those flare ups that she can get on and off herself. She is in diapers because she often has a hard time making it to the bathroom. Aches and pains from old injuries and a general lack of exercise have made it pretty hard for her to get around. She has her routine, but finds it tiring and difficult to do much outside of that. She loves to snack and has a little stash she keeps in her room by her chair. About the care needs: Mom is very chatty. I think she would enjoy someone with a bubbly personality. She is very easy going so I do believe she would get along with anyone. We are a pet friendly home (3 cats, 2 dogs which will be crated) so a love for animals would be ideal. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
