Hands-on Care Needed For My Father In Dothan

About who needs care: Dad was diagnosed Glioblastoma Multiforme in 2015. He was given 6-14 months but has lived much much longer. He fell and broke his hip on Sept 30. Had hip replacement Oct. 1. Had a very bad UTI in the hospital which was treated but the outcome has been that it has affected his cognitive abilities. He can communicate but has word confusion quite frequently. He is now at home but is under Hospice care. Mom lives at home with him but needs help getting him in and out of bed. Onto the potty chair. Using a walker to get from the bed to a wheelchair. Wheelchair to a chair in the sunroom. He is very very weak. Currently wears adult diapers and uses a urine funnel with a tube and reservoir at his bedside. He can use a potty chair next to his bed as long as we can get him in and out of bed and over to it in time. He is getting PT several times a week and making progress with taking steps. We hope that will continue to improve. As that improves dad might need less frequency of care. My mom will be in the home most of the time but from time to time will need to run errands or take care of herself. About the care needs: CNA My dad has a bit of a dry sense of humor and can be a little blunt, but he's harmless. He likes people that are gentle and kind. Able to assist in helping him stand up out of bed. MUST be responsible, clean, groomed appropriately, on-time, meticulous with the care of my dad. Services needed include: feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
