Companion Care Needed For My Mother In Birmingham

About who needs care: My mother suffers from Early Onset Dementia but she is otherwise in very good health. She stays active and enjoys walking, spending time with her cat. Outside the house she enjoys Church and Lady's Small Group. We are looking for in home assistance for her during the day to provide companionship and help in getting her to appointments and taking her meds. About the care needs: My mother will need a female care giver and she responds best to people with a positive and upbeat demeanor. As mentioned, my mother is in good physical health it is the mental side that is the concern. The caregiver will need to be skilled in caring for someone with Dementia. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
