About who needs care: My mother is 65 and 150lb. She uses a wheelchair and has right sided weakness. In December of 2024, a brain tumor was discovered and she lost a lot of her independence after surgery and treatment. She'll continue with chemotherapy, so she will have fatigue and nausea. She will need help with transfers throughout the day as well as her homework from PT/OT. Meals as well as getting dressed and brushing teeth will be needed as well. About the care needs: My mom loves to be outside whenever she can. She is motivated so we would like someone who is also motivated to help with her exercises and to get outside. She likes puzzles and and books, though she has a lot of trouble with fine motor skills and reading comprehension. If asked, her favorite thing to do is to go outside for a walk. Services needed include: mobility assistance.
