About who needs care: Hi, I am looking for a helper for my mom. She is a professional disabled (paralyzed) woman. For the past couple years my mom had a woman come to the house on Fridays / Sundays for a couple hours to supervise while she swims (eg can sit and read a book, just there in case of emergency and to hold the wheelchair still while my mom transfers) and help with some light household chores and organizing together like gardening, helping move awkward/large things in and out of the car (for example, her bicycle). The woman who has helped her a lot the past couple years is stopping in the new year to focus on her daughters wedding Ultimately, our goal is to find someone (or a combination of people) who can help regularly on Friday and Sunday About the care needs: Patient, easygoing, reliable Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
