I have 2 1-year-old Newfoundlands. The both do well with lose leash walking, individually. Together they get a little frisky. We are working on that. Recently I hurt my knee and it is too risky to walk them both at the same time. We walk for an hour a day. This means I have to walk one while the other stays home and pouts, then switch. That makes for a 2 hour walk for me. That is too much for my knee and for being out in this cold weather for that long. And they won't get any better waking together. It is a nice "county" walk with no sidewalks. Early afternoon is best for me. Late morning and evenings work for me as well.
