I have a 2-year-old Norwegian Forest Cat mutt. She has a double layered coat, which can get knotted on her belly, her armpits, and her rear haunches. Shes very sweet but is timid with new people. She is long haired and dislikes being brushed, so I try to do a little bit at a time while petting her and giving her treats. She is indoor but does go outside when the weather permits and I can keep an eye on her, so I would prefer her nails not be clipped too short. I used to give her monthly baths which she tolerates while complaining. I just want to make sure shes ready for her winter coat to come in, as well as a sort of reset so I can do a better job of keeping up with her grooming. She needs her knots clipped, her ears cleaned, a deep brushing, and a bath. Her nails may be trimmed if necessary.
