About the job
My husband and I rescued a pigeon about 1 month and 2 weeks ago. We are going on vacation for a week and need someone to look after her. She is disabled. She can't really fly. She can flap her wings, but she can't land without crashing. Her legs are wrapped since one of them are immobile. She is very sweet and has gotten used to us. We try to feed her a handful of seeds 2 or 3 times a day and give her some water. Other than picking up her droppings she's pretty low maintenance. She stays in a box inside our house overnight and during the day we let her sit out on a padding in our garage. We would only need someone to come check on her once a day to make sure she's fed and doesn't have poop everywhere. 30 mins to an hour a day would be great.
