We have a 14-year-old staffie who hates being crated, to the point that he has to take medicine to help him calm down if left alone for more than 2 hours. He loves people but doesn't do very well with other dogs. His schedule is as follows: Morning (7-9am) - let out and fed Afternoon (5pm) - let out Evening (6-8pm) - fed Night (9-11pm) - let out (usually to pee). We also have 4 cats. Three are good with people but hiss at each other LOL. One is a foster who is very skittish around people and other cats so she is isolated in a separate room. All 4 are fed twice a day - morning and evening.
