I have two miniature dachshunds. One is 3 years old, 8 lbs., black and tan, very docile, well trained in verbal commands and hand signals. She may not do them for you though. The other is 2 years old, 6 lbs., dapple with heterochromia (one blue eye and one brown eye), very hyper, loves to JUMP! She's terrible with commands, verbal or hand. Collars and harnesses should be on at all times. Leads go on any time before they go outside. If you cannot do this (too hyper, bad weather), playing fetch indoors is acceptable if it's for their safety. We are initially planning an overnight away. If successful, there is opportunity for more. We do not entrust our pups with just anyone. House has Wi-Fi, many TVs, etc. Feel free to use. We will disable the bathroom and bedroom ones for obvious reasons for your privacy.
