Seeking a sitter near Portland for 1 dog Looking for someone to care for my sweet Violet dog mid July through August. I have to go out of town to spend time with my elderly mother and looking for someone who can take my dog into their home and love-her-up while I'm away. She would do best in a house without other dogs or cats. Violet is sweet and cuddly, but is not a dog that is a toy. She is trained to help me with my disability, and alerts me if my heart is wacky. Rescue pit, about 6 years old Trained guard dog, requires verbal permission and treats before meeting anyone new both in the house and out in the world. She has a halter that says DO NOT PET. She would Fine with chickens, trained to chase squirrels and crows Loves going to the dog park to sniff and watch other dogs. Can do quick interactions wig. Boarding is required as needed.
