My wife has cancer and her surgery date is march . We will be gone that week staying in the hospital. When we come home she will need 2-3 weeks of healing and getting to move around. Taking care of her and when I can try to go to work when I can get someone to come sit with. Just needing that time she is loving and friendly and is welcoming to other dogs just has to be a slow process. She is 9 1/2 years old.
