Maia is still very much a German Shepherd puppy. She is 3 years old and weighs 56 pounds. She loves being petted, but gets too excited sometimes. She is very huggable. She loves to play fetch but hasn't gotten the hang of it. She is very athletic and fast (she chases squirrels and is very close to catching them). She was very close to my daughter's small dog, who passed away a few months ago, and our Saint Bernard, who also passed away one year ago. I'm not sure how she gets along with other dogs.
