About the job
Niskayuna family needs a pet sitter for 3 elderly dogs (Schnauzer Husky mix age 19, German Shepherd age 12, Great Dane Staffordshire Terrier mix age 9) and 3 chickens. Must love animals! Our home has a large fenced yard and dog door, but the two oldest dogs can't use the stairs to access the dog door and need to be let out via the living room door. Our ideal match will meet the requirements below. Responsibilities include daily walks (2 oldest can only walk about 2 houses down the street, youngest will need a longer walk), feeding, medicine administration and waste clean up for 3 dogs. The oldest dog wears diapers that will need to be changed periodically. Chickens require water and food refills and egg collection daily - pretty low maintenance. Non-smoker.
