About the job
Ruthie is a very happy and social dog. Fully house broken, loves being with other dogs, loves humans. Absolutely no separation anxiety. She's a 55lb, 3-year-old sheep dog-poodle mix. She does not shed (bonus). She has what we call an "emotional Support shoe" that she uses to greet people (and also to play fetch with). She is a destroyer of stuffed toys and HATES vacuum cleaners. She is not great on a leash, but will settle in after a few minutes. We live in a very rural area and don't need to leash her. She loves cats and children, but can be a little over-the-top in greeting them. She will force her way on to your lap. She is very treat motivated. Loves being outside. The Sheepdog in her will let you know when the neighbors are home, the mail truck passes, or when a squirrel invades the yard. We have a deaf and neurotic cat too.
