Due to the past experiences of my 2 girls before I rescued them, they are a little timid when they meet new people. They tend to bark a bit, but are never physically aggressive. It does take up to an hour (sometimes less!) for them to warm up to you, but once they do, they are the biggest love bugs ever. They are house trained, and trained to stay in the yard. My male dog has absolutely no problem meeting new people (or animals). Due to his calm nature, my females do tend to sometimes feed off his energy causing them to warm up quicker to you. They are big energy balls once they are comfortable and only require being let inside and outside to play & use the bathroom.
