Benji Timid at first, takes a while to warm up to someone new. Doesn't do well with other dogs that he doesn't already know. He's sweet and loves to lay on your lap once he trusts you. His favorite thing to do is sniff around outside, hunt for chipmunks, and lay down in the sun. He needs to be given a Fluoxetine (Prozac) pill (usually hidden in a pill pocket treat) 1x a day. This helps take the edge off of his anxiety. It's mostly separation anxiety, or anxiety of unfamiliar trips, people or other dogs. When he first meets other dogs he's very scared. He will bark, lunge or snap.
