Both of my dogs are large german shepherds. One is older, Lily, at 7 years old and she's not too big on walking. Titan is 4 and very prey driven. Both are walked on prong-collars currently but Titan still is known to pull quite frequently. Both would need to be walked separately to ease the walker's job.
