Boarding Needed For 1 Dog In Georgetown

Dirk is a 40 pound, black and tan, 14-year-old pooch of mixed heritage. Beagle, American Foxhound, Boarder Collie. He has a smooth coat. He is very energetic and agile, even at 14. At home he is very good at escaping and going off for a long adventure. He has a very finely tuned sense of smell and can be somewhat rude with where he places his nose. At home he gets along with visiting dogs and does not guard his dinner dish. (We free feed at home but realize that is difficult if there are other dogs around.) He has had no experience with cats. He is a lovebug. He is also a scaredy-cat when there is a windstorm, thunder or loud noises. Bath Animal Hospital has prescribed Doggy Downers to help him mellow out, which we will supply.
