Pawsitive Dawg Walking and Pet Sitting is rapidly growing and currently looking for fun, loving, reliable, mature, and experienced individuals to join our team of dedicated pet care professionals! We are looking for a part time Asst Pet Care Team Leader to assist the management team and to learn the skills necessary to eventually manage a team of dog walkers/pet sitters. We will schedule you at least 15+ hours each week Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday or Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday to provide cat sitting visits, walk dogs, provide dog sitting visits, update Pet Care profiles, monitor dog walking/cat sitting visits/pet sitting visits, interview potential new hires, train new staff, help with scheduling as needed, complete business projects, and answer questions when the Pet Care Manager/Owner is out. Your schedule will vary based on client need and you could work consecutive hours between 7-1pm, 8-2pm, or 9-3pm. If your schedule allows, we could also schedule you split shifts between 7-9am and 12-3pm or 8-10am and 5-8:30pm so you can run errands or schedule appts during your "off" hours. Paid training and competitive compensation, including a cell phone stipend and mileage reimbursement Paid sick leave Paid time off Weekly Direct Deposit Full bonding, liability insurance, and worker's compensation Established dog walking and pet sitting business Job Description: -Provide dog walking, pet sitting, or cat sitting visits in 20-60 minute increments and give all pets your undivided attention and love during your assigned visit. -Feed animals a variety of food, pick up dog poop, scoop cat litter, clean litter boxes, pick up vomit, and any other pet care duties the owner has requested. -Provide solo dog walks for private on-leash neighborhood walks. -Provide group dog walks for on-leash neighborhood walks. -Maintain control and ensure the safety of all of the animals under your watch. -Maintain security of our clients' homes during your assigned visit. -Provide a daily note in our scheduling app with a photo following each visit to confirm services and to update the owner and Pawsitive Dawg of your visit -Update Pet Care profiles in our scheduling software to include clear directions on location of materials, how to feed animals, administer medication, scoop cat litter, clean litter boxes, temperament, helpful strategies to make visit go smoothly, and any other pet care duty the owner has requested. -Schedule services and change schedules around when the Pet Care Manager is unavailable. -Interview potential new hires. -Monitor pet care visits. -Train, supervise, and mentor new staff. -Work independently and remotely to complete any other business related projects (updating social media, creating holidays cards, birthday cards, bereavement cards, etc). -Be able to quickly and efficiently respond to all inquiries from our team. -Have excellent verbal and written communication skills since you will be communicating directly with clients, the Pet Care Manager, and colleagues. -Must be extremely organized, dependable, self-motivated, and have a positive attitude.
