Small dog of about 15 lbs. Chihuahua. Not socialized with other dogs. Bad experience as a puppy when he was attacked by 2 large dogs. Uncomfortable with strangers, and guarded, but will warm up to people in 20 minutes, once he knows we are okay with you. Only stayed away at a pet hotel on one occasion 8 years ago, and was okay with it. Loves his daily walk of . 66 miles, and his nightly chewie at 7 p.m. Very much a creature of habit, like we are, and sticks to the same schedule every day. No meds. Very robust and healthy, but low energy most of the day. Gets excited for his walks, likes to sniff, then wants the walk to be over about . 5 miles in, then he lightly pulls the leash back toward the comfort of his car, then home for a nap.
