We have 3 senior cats, 2 of whom need regular meds. Orion, a very large tuxedo, needs a 3 unit insulin injection after feeding 2x per day (morning and evening) as well as a 100 mg gabapentin pill 2x per day. Aurora, a blue eyed calico, needs a 5 mg methimazole pill 2x per day. And Hera, a brown tabby, is just very vocal and also skittish/affectionate. They all get a scoop of dry food each 2x per day and also share 2 cans of wet food among the 3 of them. Aurora gets k/d formula (2/3 can), Orion gets regular purina wet food (2/3 can), and Hera gets the balance from each of those cans. Orion and Aurora are used to the meds and easy to administer to.
