My rescued two poodle mix girls are about 15 pounds each, 6 and 7 years old, very sweet, affectionate and always with me. My Maltypoo, Becca, was adopted from severe abuse, broken back, hips, ribs, crushed pelvis. She is unable to urinate at will so I gently express (apply pressure) to her bladder so she can release her urine about 4 times per day. The poo just pops out. She can feel her needs but the break at the bottom of her spine prevents control. My poodle mix, Maddie, is fine in every way. She loves being close to her people and adores humans, not other dogs that much. Becca's urination needs are of parmount concern.
