However, as a part of The Puppy Au Pair team, you being happy and enjoying your work is just as important! Open communication and feeling valued, heard, and appreciated is a must! Midday walker position would be Monday-Friday from ~10am-3 p.m. You do not need to be available all 5 days, but would need to provide consistent availability for specific days (example: Monday/Wednesday/Friday from 11a-2pm) This will be an ongoing position, not a short-term gig. The initial contract is 6 months, with the option to renew. As a part of the hiring process, we offer a trial period for you to shadow members of the team before committing to the initial 6 month contract so we all have a chance to make sure it's a good fit. Note: our service area is Del Ray, Old Town, Belle Haven, and Potomac Yard Alexandria. Our service area is bike-able/scooter if you do not have a car. Work can include midday dog walks, dog-park visits, pet taxi, and cat care. (There are additional opportunities to board in your home or do overnights in the client's home, as well as evening and weekend walks/kitty visits if interested.) Pay is per walk, but averages $20-25/hr. Someone with open midday availability M-F who also does overnights/boarding would make upwards of $3k/month Come work with us!!
