I have a somewhat senior 11 yr old tortoise-shell Calico (Torti), and she is quite shy & scared until getting to know folks, although she's gotten some better as she's gotten older. She mostly hides under beds when new folks are around. She isn't aggressive at all, never scratching or biting, although she hisses when she's scared. Otherwise, she's pretty chill.
