About the job
I have 3 female dogs. One is a 4-year-old Beagle/blue tick coonhound mix, that is 50lbs, that is VERY people friendly and affectionate named Beanie. One is a German shepherd/ husky mix but she is small for her breed. Her name is Alice (Ali is her nickname), she is almost 4 years old and is 45 pounds. Alice is friendly but takes time to warm up. She does not like men, hats, beards, etc. as long as she has a stuffed animal, she's less anxious. Finally, I have a 13-year-old shih tzu mix that is 9lbs. She is friendly but barks a lot at first. She is in congestive heart failure and is on a lot of medication that is given at set meal times. We will be going on a trip in October so I am trying to find someone for my dogs to get to know and be comfortable with before this trip so we can hire a sitter while we are gone for 7 days (Sunday-Saturday).
