Hello! This is new for me so Ill do my best describing what Im looking for. In one word it would be compassion! I have two dogs: Miles, a Maltese who will be 15 in June, and Basil, a Morkie, who will be 5 in May. My senior Maltese, Miles, has recently lost his vision due to diabetes and insulin. Lo and behold, his hearing has severely deteriorated too. As a nurse, Im gone 3-4 days a week for nearly 14 hours a day. Ive made a play yard / safe space for him to stay during my work days but I feel bad separating the two and leaving him without cuddles. Hes adjusting and confused. Id love to find someone to spend some time with them during the day. Let Basil outside, snuggle with Miles and generally check in on them.
