I have a ferret that Is 4 yrs old and I need someone to watch her and take care of her from the 17th of June to the 25. Ferrets do have cages but are not the kind of pet that you would keep in the cage very much. They need stimulation and they need to be able to run around in a room that doesn't have any crevices or holes they can crawl into. They should never be brought into a kitchen because refrigerators are dangerous for them and there are many places that they could get hurt. They need to be given ferret laxatives on a regular basis because they cannot cough up hairballs and can form obstructions easily. They are wonderful quirky pets. They do have a musk smell that you will have to get used to.
