I have a sweet, 8-year-old female Australian Shepherd mix. I'll be out of town in Florida, she's pretty low maintenance, house trained and respectful of everything (won't chew on anything in the house). She doesn't do well with other dogs, so she would need to be the only dog in the home, and could present challenges on walks, but does great with short walks and turning back to go home if you see other dogs. She's great around people! She may be a little needy if you show her attention, so she'll cuddle if you want, but she's also pretty relaxed and self sufficient. Treats can also distract her easily.
