My dog, Khoda, is very shy especially around males. Khoda was rescued from St. Croix Virgin Islands and brought to the US. He does not bark, does not approach humans, is good with small dogs and cats but large dogs is sometimes questionable (I don't fully trust him around big dogs). Khoda is very obedient, and his personality is to stay quiet and out of trouble. He is extremely sweet and will not harm a human. The best way to gain Khoda's trust is to talk to him - he understands a lot and responds best when he's told what's happening: such as "we're going for a walk, for a ride in the car, going to go pee pee" He does need to go out 2x/day - will stay in his bed all day until he's told he's going out. Khoda is approx. 75 - 80 lbs, short haired Rhodesian Ridgeback mix.
